AARP Merced Chapter #282 Scholarship
The AARP Merced Chapter #282 recognizes the importance of education and helping future generations of students reach their educational goals. The chapter’s motto, “To Serve, Not to be Served” is demonstrated by the chapter’s desire to provide scholarships for undergraduate students at UC Merced.
Eligibility Criteria: Must complete the Continuing Student Scholarship Application by March 2nd indicating you are the son or daughter of a US Veteran and participate in regular community service projects. Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident who completed high school in Merced County. Must have a FAFSA filed by March 2nd of award year. Must maintain full time enrollment for both fall and spring terms. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Must be willing to attend a donor recognition event or activity.
