Stephanie Rae Tomford Endowed Scholarship

The Stephanie Rae Tomford Endowed Scholarship was established in 2010 by Stephanie’s family and friends in celebration of her generous spirit and interest in education. Her life-long love of reading, learning, and travel was fostered when she attended Roanoke College and spent her first summer abroad in Europe. The scholarship is designed to financially support students ensuring they receive educational experiences and opportunities in and out of the classroom. This scholarship is targeted for those students who have financial need, show strong academic merit and major in Literatures and Cultures or a related area of study.

Eligibility Criteria: Must complete the Continuing Student Scholarship Application by March 2nd. Must have an English major. Must be at a Junior or Senior grade level with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00. Must demonstrate financial need. Must have a FAFSA or Dream Act Application filed by March 2nd of award year. Must maintain full time enrollment for both fall and spring terms.
