Hannah and Eddie Vasquez Family Scholarship

As a past UC Merced Chief of Police and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Campus and Public Safety, Albert Vasquez and his wife Sejla Mesic-Vasquez are committed to helping future generations of UC Merced students reach their educational goals. The Hannah and Eddie Vasquez Family Scholarship Fund is named in honor of their children Hannah and Eddie Vasquez and will serve as a lasting legacy of the Vasquez family’s committed to higher education.

Eligibility: Must be a continuing student who has completed a Continuing Student Scholarship Application by the March 2nd due date. Student must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, be in Good Academic Standing and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to a student who is a Community Service Officer (CSO) with the UC Merced Policy Department or is part of the Guardian Scholars Program. This is a one time award and funding will be split between the fall and spring semesters. Must maintain full time enrollment for both the fall and spring semester.
