Calvin E Bright Engineering Scholarship

The Bright Family Foundation recognizes the financial barriers of attending a UC-caliber research university and-with the full support and cooperation of the Dean of the School of Engineering – wish to reduce this barrier by donating funds that will be used solely for the direct support of student financial needs in the form of The Calvin E. Bright Engineering Scholarships. These scholarships will provide financial aid to students at the UC Merced School of Engineering.

The recipient is selected by the Dean of School of Engineering and the SOE Executive Committee. Award criteria is determined by the particular school.
