Chen-Matsubara Family Endowed Scholarship

As University of California alumni with lifelong roots in the Central Valley, Dar Chen and Cheryl Matsubara wish to extend to others the educational experiences they have enjoyed and to model for others the values and joys of philanthropy and service.

Eligibility Criteria: Student eligibility is automatically determined based on your UC Admissions Application. Awarded to incoming freshman showing high academic excellence with an entry GPA of 3.25 or higher and a passion for community service. Student must demonstrate financial need and have a FAFSA or Dream Act Application completed by March 2nd of award year. Must maintain full time enrollment for both fall and spring terms. This award is renewable up to 4 years in renewal criteria is met and student is in good academic standing.
