Ganio-Julian Family Scholarship

As a proud UC Merced alumnus from the pioneering class, Jessica “JaeJae” Julian is committed to helping future generations of UC Merced students reach their educational goals. The Ganio-Julian Family Scholarship Fund will provide financial aid to high achieving students and will serve as a lasting legacy of the Ganio-Julian family’s commitment to higher education.’

Eligibility Criteria: Must complete the Continuing Student Scholarship Application by March 2nd indicating an active and ongoing commitment to serving others through community service project(s). Open to any continuing student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00. Must complete a FAFSA or Dream Act Application by March 2nd of award year. Must maintain full time enrollment for both fall and spring terms.

  1. Please describe an active off-campus voluntary service project in which you participated in your community. Explain how your participation exemplifies your ongoing commitment (including what was the impact to the community, who and how many persons were benefited and how did they benefit)?
  2. Please share your community service experiences, any extracurricular activities, organizations or professional society memberships, student clubs or UC Merced athletic teams on campus.
